Ken is the owner of Thomsen’s 4 Winds Auction. He was born and raised in Baldwin ND. The values he grew up with is still part of his everyday life. He attended Continental Auctioneer and Appraisal school in July 2003. In 2009 he decided he would fulfill his dream and be a full-time auctioneer.Valerie is Ken’s wife. She is the head cashier/clerk. Valerie was born and raised in Bismarck. Valerie has lived in Baldwin since 1986. She works full-time for the State of North Dakota. In her spare time she volunteers for Wilton Rural Ambulance Service.Heather Blum is Ken’s Associate Auctioneer. Heather is Ken’s daughter and one of few female practicing auctioneers in North Dakota. Heather is a full-time school teacher in the Bakken. She looks forward to sale day so she can work with her family. Heather attended Continental Auctioneer School in 2009.Brandon Blum is Heather’s husband. He has helped us out as a ring man for the past few years. We hope that he goes to auctioneer school so he can help Heather out in the future.
